IT Committe Promotes RedRover Secure

11/24/2010

Over the past 4 days, the Student Assembly’s Committee on Information Technology helped over 50 students and faculty in Duffied Hall switch to the RedRover Secure network. The SA’s IT committee (and CIT) suggest any member of the Cornell community with a NET-ID use RedRover Secure to connect wireless devices (including Laptops and phones) to the school’s network.

RedRover secure is both FASTER and MORE SECURE than the RedRover network (which is available to even non-Cornellians).

For information on setting up a connection to the RedRover Secure network, please see the link:

OR, contact:

it-members@assembly.cornell.edu with questions.

Look out for the CIT committee as they extend the effort to promote RedRover Secure beyond Duffield.
