Interested in joining the Student Assembly Organizational Review Board? The group is a new addition to the Student Assembly and is intended to review and evaluate one third of Cornell’s undergraduate organizations every year (about 250 per year).  Its mission is to reduce redundancy and minimize wasted resources among organizations in order to better help the undergraduate student body.

The SAORC is an excellent way to learn about everything that goes on on campus by evaluating different groups, as well as develop analytical and interpersonal skills. Its a small committee, of only 9 people, which is a great environment to work in. It is also a great stepping stone to get involved with student government, and network with other student leaders.

Besides reviewing all student organizations on campus, the committee will also have a hand in writing up Appendix D rules and will help define the committee’s future operations towards the end of the year.
