Debate over CU Bill of Rights Legislation!
Do you want a right to privacy? How about a right to protest? Or a right to assemble?
Speak up! Be a delegate. Join us, this Thursday at 4:30PM in the Willard Straight Hall Memorial Room, for the first debate over Bill of Rights Legislation!
All members of the Cornell community are invited to attend as delegates to draft Cornell University’s first Student Bill of Rights. All delegates will be able to ask a panel of academics, lawyers, and Administrators questions about the history, policy, and politics surrounding student rights here at Cornell. Following the panel discussion, all delegates will have the opportunity to discuss the Student Bill of Rights with Student Assembly members and participate in the debate.
Food will be provided.
